We, the faculty and administration of Robert Smalls Leadership Academy, realize our great responsibility in molding the lives and characters of our students.  It is essential that we provide each student with the opportunities he/she needs to become a more productive citizen.  Recognizing that we share with the community in this responsibility, we desire to develop the skills, attitudes, and habits that contribute to successful living.  If a student is to be an asset to his state and nation, he must develop morally, socially, and emotionally, as well as physically and mentally.
